Hello,
As you can probably tell I haven't posted in a couple of days. This is because I was away at Moreton Island for a little mini break. It was absolutely amazing. Moreton Island is honestly one of my favourite places ever. Ive been going every years since I was a baby. While I was there I pretty much just relaxed on the beach, got really burnt (very silly idea), swam, walked along the beach, had some drinks watching the sunset go down and went on a bit of a day trip around the island which was just as much fun as it is every year even though we see the same things. On the day trip we went to Blue Lagoon, the most prettiest place I have ever been. Its a fresh water lagoon and it is just amazing and refreshing. There is a bit of tea-tree in the water so its amazing for you hair and skin which is just a bonus. The walk to the Lagoon from the car park is a bit of a hike and the sand is extremely hot but I believe the hike is definitely worth it. After Blue Lagoon we headed over to the other side of the island and up to Honeymoon Bay, which as you can tell from its name is a pretty secluded beach where many honeymooners go for a bit of romantic one on one time. The water is crystal clear blue and there is even a rock pool where the waves crash over the rocks. I went at low tide so I was unable to swim in the rock pool due to there being no water. After we ventured to Honeymoon may we decided to go to Five Hills Lookout, which is pretty much a lookout that you can see the entire island from. Absolutely Spectacular and the weather was amazing the entire day so it was the perfect last day to my mini break.
I took many pictures from my trip but have decided to show you a few of my favourites. Hope you enjoy :)
I'm just going to take a moment to share that I was also attacked by the Kookaburra in the photograph. They are some feisty creatures.
Hope you enjoyed this post and the photos from my mini-break.
Have a magnificent day/night :)

Bake of the Day
Today I decided to bake some chocolate brownies and serve them with Ice Cream and Chocolate sauce. I would list a recipe but Im going to be honest and admit that I used the Betty Crocker's Packet Mix. I would have made them from scratch but I'm having a bit of a lazy day and I absolutely love the Betty Crocker's packet mix. It is honestly the best, and licking the bowl, ohhh my gosh! yummy. So i took the liberty of taking a snap of my creation to share with you. :)
Hope you enjoyed this post :)
Hope you have a magnificent day/night!
YouTube and My Favourite Channels
Hello,
So this morning my friend sent me a link to Lewis Watson's YouTube Channel. Lewis is a 19 year old boy from Kidlington in the UK and started his YouTube account in April 2009 and has had over 4 million video views and over 49,000 subscribers. His music style is similar to Ed Sheeran and his lyrics are touching and meaningful. His open, relaxed personality and his confidence performance style is just a bonus for the Oxford born singer.

"I enjoy music that I can relate to, and I hope that people can connect with my songs. Not necessarily the situation, but perhaps the sentiment. If I’ve done that, I will feel like I have succeeded as a songwriter." (Lewis Watson)
While where on the topic of YouTube, I've decided to share with you my favourite YouTube channels. I never thought much of YouTube until I discovered all of these great channels and it turns out, YouTube is quite entertaining. All links are listed below :)
So there my favourite YouTube channels, and I know this sounds silly and stupid but honestly if I ever have a bad day watching videos from any of the above channels I instantly feel happier and it just puts me in a better mood. Or coming home from work, now I'm legit saving all of my earnings from working so I physically get up go to work and come home then sleep and do the same thing, everyday, so coming home from work and just going to bed doesn't put me in the best frame of mind so I head over to youtube and instantly I feel better :) Its what you would call my non-medical medicine.
Well, I hope you've enjoyed my 'Youtube' post and I think all you guys should head over to YouTube to each of these channels and hit subscribe, you wont regret it. I promise.
I hope you have a magnificent day/night :)

Bella Box
Hello Lovelies,
So, I found out about Bella Box quiet a while ago and actually purchased a few products from them which I really loved. I purchased them after they were highly recommend by one of their bloggers. It was only just yesterday when I found out how their program works, and it sounds like a great idea.
Its a great program where you become a member and each month for a price of $15 per month, they send you out a cute little box full of beauty samples and products for you to test out at home and then hopefully go and purchase them on the Bella Box website.
I joined the program yesterday and I created a monthly membership where I pay $15.00 per month and they send me out the monthly box and in exchange for my membership each month I receive 15 rewards points where I can save up and spend towards any purchases made on the website.
After signing up I thought, how about I sign up to Bella Box and then each month review the products and let you guys know how I went, so each month Im going to complete a post where I review the products I received in that months 'Bella Box'.
So if this program sounds like something you would enjoy, why not sign up. Its only $15.00 per month and just think about all the products you will receive that you possibly would never have heard of. You might find that one product that simply works wonders on your hair that you possibly could miss out on. Think of all the possibilities.

Brisbane Storm
Now I know compared to Hurricane Sandy, Brisbane's Storm may have looked a little small and less significant, but for people who live in Brisbane it was a pretty big storm from what we are normally prepared for.
I live in an apartment building in the city and from my apartment I could see chairs, tables, pillows and random stuff blowing of the balconies of the building next to me. The storm was what you would class as intense. I was home alone at the time and stuff was hovering on my balcony due to the strong winds so I was forced to go outside and try and collect as much as I could and bring it inside. I physically thought I was going to get blown off the balcony. After the storm had passed everyone from all the buildings went out onto their balconies to see if any major damage was done. No major damage was done but a couple of windows on the building next to me were blown off and some balconies had smashed (they have glass panels).
Then just a couple of hours ago Brisbane got hit again with what they calling a mini Hurricane. I wouldn't say it was that bad but it was definitely intense, again. This afternoons storm didn't have as strong winds as yesterdays had but this time there was hail, and a lot of thunder and lightning. I took a couple of photos from my window when ever I got the chance so I thought id share some with you.

The Storm Coming my way.

Lightning lighting up the sky
This was at about 5:45pm. Storm Clouds
Panorama View. I love this photograph. It's crazy how one side of the building is so light and happy looking and the other side is so dark and angry.
My Favourite photo out of all the photos I took. Perfect lightning strike.
I hope you enjoyed the images I posted to illustrate the storm. I couldn't get any photographs of the hail as I was busy getting some stuff off the balcony so they didn't blow away.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope you have a magnificent day/night :)

Brothers Graduation, Argo and What I Wore
Yesterday was my brothers High School Graduation. He turned 18 on the 15th November (Thursday), Graduated the 16th November (Friday) and is on his way to Gold Coast Schoolies (Today).
During his schooling years he's had his up's and downs but thankfully he made it to graduation day. We drove down Friday morning for a 12:30pm start to the graduation ceremony. It was the longest and hottest 2.5 hours of my life. The ceremony was in a tiny theatre that barely fit all the parents and friends of the graduation class in. After the ceremony he went off and had a last meal with his boarding house and my mother, father and grandmothers went to the movies to kill some time before dinner.
The movie we decide to see was Argo. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who is thinking of seeing it. It's not usually the type of movie I would see voluntarily but I greatly enjoyed it. I'm not sure how to explain the story line as it's a bit confusing and it's one of those movies that you need to have your brain switched on. You can't just go and see it and relax, so to speak. So, I took to the liberty of looking on Internet Movie Database (IMDB) for the synopsis of the movie.

A dramatisation of the 1980 joint CIA-Canadian Secret operation to extract six fugitive American diplomatic personnel out of revolutionary Iran. (IMDB)
What I wore.
As it was a graduation I though it best to wear something respectable and conservative, not so provocative or inappropriate. I decided on a red dress from TopShop and a pair of black heels.
Dress: TopShop (Sold Out)
Shoes: Famous Footwear
Bag: Colette
Jewellery: Tiffany and Co. Ring, Pandora Bracelet, Personalised Necklace
Let me know if you want me to some different post.
Hope you have enjoyed this post and hope you have a magnificent day/night :)

The Pact
So, as you can probably tell I've been a little distant lately. There's only one explanation for that, and that's the truth. I have indeed been reading, quite a lot lately. I finally finished The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky and once I had finished that book I went straight onto reading The Pact by Jodi Picoult.
My mother has been telling me I should read The Pact for just under 2 years now and for some reason I have just never wanted to. I have tried 3 times in the past and never got passed the first scene of the four parents sitting in the Chinese restaurant. It just never grabbed my attention, but to be fare I will admit, that I don't think I ever gave the book a chance. But I'm glad I did. The Pact is an amazing, tragic love story. It brings together the bond that a mother has for their child, the strength of a suicide pact and also the love in which the two main characters, Chris and Emily, had for each other at such a young age. I don't want to give away the story line to much because I want you all to read it and not know the ending as the ending is truly a remarkable illustration of how much love they had for each other and how if one died the other could just simply not live, or not want to live on. Some may say that its ridiculous, that you can't not live just because one person has died or left you, but I do believe in true love and I do believe that their is one person out in the world for each and everyone of us and I believe that Chris was that person for Emily and Emily was that person for Chris.
I urged each and everyone of you (whoever sees this post) to read The Pact by Jodi Picoult. If not now, then before the Summer and Winter ends, where ever in the world you are. Now that I've successfully finished The Pact I might continue on to read Nineteen Minutes, or Keeping Faith, or Picture Perfect all novels written by Jodi Picoult. And don't worry, after each book I have written I will post a review of each of them to let you know my opinion and whether or not it's a great read.
If you have an books you'd like me to read and then I can post a review, don't be afraid to ask, I'd be more than happy to :)
Hope you have a magnificent day/night.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Vietnam
So today I decided to have a 'stay at home day', so all I did was stay at home. I left my apartment once to get food for dinner. While I was at home I decided to read a little from the book I'm reading at the moment, 'The Perks of Being A Wallflower'. It is truly a great book. I haven't seen the movie yet because I vowed to myself that I would finish the book first as everyone has told me the movie is a great adaptation from the book as they didn't change much, so as you can probably imagine I am extremely excited to see the film. If you haven't read the work I highly suggest you do. It is amazing.
Other than reading today, I managed to sort out all my photos from my trip to Vietnam in 2010. Yes, I know that was 2 years ago. But for some reason when I come home from a holiday I never seem to look at the photos straight away. It takes me a good couple of months to look at them and a good two years to sort them. While I was sorting them I found some great shots and thought I would share them with you all. So here are my favourite shots from my trip to Vietnam, hope you enjoy...
This image was taken on a private cruise down the Mekong Delta. It was plant that was beginning to wrap around the porch rail on the top deck.
This image is of the rice fields on a walking tour through the villages.
This image is of the magnificent orange sunset while on the cruise. It was absolutely breath taking.
Note: This image has been slightly edited but only to make the surroundings darker shades to allow the orange sunset to be the focal point of the image.
This image is of some lanterns in the hotel lobby. Lanterns are very popular in Vietnam and I just found them to be very cultural, and the colours (orange, yellow and red) work so well together.
This image is of a beautiful bridge in Hoi Ann. I think the person standing under the bridge makes the photo that much more appealing and special.
This image is quite sad. This lady had been sitting out the front of a shop all day trying to sell these little clay statues. I took a photo front on but the emotion in her face was heart breaking. I did buy 2 clay statues from this lady and also left her the equivalent of AUD$30 just to brighten her day. Once I left she had the biggest smile on her face and it made me think back on my life and just think about how grateful I am and how privileged I am.
This was the street the lady above was sitting on. It was an absolutely beautiful street, with the trees making a kind of arch way and the flowers beginning to bloom. It was just so pretty.
And finally a beautiful sunset, also taken while on the cruise. Just magnificent.
All in all I would have to say that my trip to Vietnam was so much a holiday, it was more of an experience. It opened me up to such a different culture and way of living. It really made me think about how great full I should be of having such a wonderful upbringing and all the opportunities I have had to travel. I love to travel and see how different parts of the world live. Vietnam honestly was a life changing experience.
Hope you enjoyed today's post and all of the images I have shared with you. If you would like to use the photographs to put on other blog's or Tumblr's, feel free to just as long as you give my blog some credit.
Thank you and hope you have a magnificent day/night.

Todays Outfit
So I think I'm going to continue showing you guys my daily outfit. I find it fun and maybe you can get something out of it. You mind find something you like and then you can contact me for information on where I got it or you can just go out and find similar items.
Today I had my last Uni exam so I'm pretty happy because I'm on holidays for 2 weeks until I start a summer semester. I will be thankful I am studying on the holidays in the long run. The two subjects I'm doing are all run on line so I'm pretty much going to be on holidays anyways.
So I had an exam today so my plan was to dress comfortable so I could focus on the exam. I decided on a simple black body-con dress with a nice washed out denim vest jacket paired with some black sandals and my Colette bag. The jewellery I wore was my normal 3 items; Pandora bracelet, Tiffany and Co. ring and my personalised necklace and also added a simple cross necklace to the outfit. I'm not wearing the necklace in the picture as that was a last minute addition. Also don't mind the smudge mark on the mirror. I had no idea it was there until I edited the image. And the quality is pretty crap as I took the photo on my iPhone as I was walking out of the door.
Dress: Dish (about 2 years ago)
Vest: Bardot
Bag: Colette
Shoes: Famous Footwear
Jewellery: Pandora Bracelet, Tiffany and Co. Ring, Personalised Necklace
Hope you guys enjoyed this post. Have a magnificent day/night :)
Brooke Davis
Now as I continue to blog you will quickly understand my love for 'One Tree Hill', especially Brooke Davis. I can probably say i have a bit of a girl crush on her! Her character and the actress, Sophia Bush. She is just so beautiful and perfect and such a great role model. Her character in the show is one of the best. She was a member of the original cast from Season 1 Episode 1 and stuck it out until the last episode in Season 9. The reason I love her character so much is because she was one of the strongest people, even though Brooke Davis was just a character I think she was such a great aspect to the show as her character eventually became a massive role model for young girls who watched the show. If you have watched the show from beginning to end you will understand me but if you've never seen the show I'll tell you a little bit about her story line...if you intend to watch the show then I suggest you stop reading now as I will probably ruin the ending for you, if your one of these people, thanks for reading and hope you have a magnificent day :)
In high school Brooke was popular, head cheerleader and a favourite with the guys. High school though wasn't as great as it seemed for her. Her family was always away so she was always alone in her big house, her family was wealthy, she was the only child. She had a boyfriend, Lucas but he cheated on her with Brooke's best friend, Peyton, twice and she kept forgiving them. Then Brooke met Felix and had a 'friends-with-benefits' relationship but she eventually started to develop feelings for him. Her family then filed for bankruptcy and had to sell everything she owned, even her favourite doll house but then Felix bought it back for her but didn't take the credit for it. Then Felix and his sister moved away, leaving Brooke. Brooke then joined clean teens to try and win over Chase (He was a member of clean teens (virginity club)). She finally won him over but they weren't able to have sex as they made a promise to God to wait until marriage. They eventually broke up. Towards the end of high school she started thinking about what she wanted to do when she was older and settled on fashion designing. She thought of the name 'Clothes over Bro's'. After graduation she left Tree Hill and moved to New York to develop her fashion line. Her mother helped out. She came back to Tree Hill and opened up a store. One night the store got broken into and trashed by a man. Brooke also got attacked by the same man on the same night leaving her in bruises on the floor in her store. Her mother then committed fraud with the funds of 'Clothes Over Bros' and Brooke had to sell her company, not the name, to be able to pay investors back the money that was taken. Eventually she got her act together and started from scratch, without her mother, bringing some help from New York. She got her company up and running and decided to take in a child from Asia in the hopes of adopting her. The adoption falls through and Brooke is heartbroken, she then meets Julian. Julian was originally with Peyton (but you don't find this out until after Brooke and Julian start dating). Long story short they get married. Before they get married Brooke finds out she has an extremely slim chance of getting ever getting pregnant. Brooke rules this out by thinking she is unable to have children ever, Julian is completely supportive in Brooke's time of need, insisting there are others ways of starting a family. In the end Brooke and Julian get married, she surprising falls pregnant with twins and she lives happily ever after.
My favourite picture, as it was probably one of the happiest moments ever for her character...
So the reason I love her character is because of all the problems she over came from the beginning of the show until the end can relate to anyone and it just shows how strong she was to overcome all the challenges and still be happy with her life. Just such a great role model.
Anyways, the reason i bought up the Brooke Davis topic is because tonight I was at work and i discovered that one of the guests staying in the Hotels name was 'B.Davis' and it just got me so excited and honestly made my day.
I had an exam today and had petrol spill all over me and sprayed shaving cream instead of deodorant under my arms because the bottles look to similar. So I've had a pretty rough day and it just made it perfect.
So hope you liked today's post. I'm sorry it was so long i was just so excited by the fact a guest had her initials and then i wanted to tell you all about how amazing the character of Brooke Davis was.
Hope you have a magnificent day/night :)

Today's Outfit and Eating Snails
So today I went out for a nice lunch with some friends to this new fancy restaurant in town. Im not entirely sure what it was called, let alone know how to spell it. It was a lovely French restaurant where I tried my first ever snail. When the waitress suggested I try the snails I just laughed, but then she convinced me to give it a go and to be honest they weren't actually to bad. They were served with a flavoursome garlic butter and the taste reminded me of oysters. So I advise everyone to not turn away from snails, who doesn't love people who eat snails? When-ever someone mentioned to me before that they had eaten a snail I would just think 'Wow, your gutsy' and now I'm one of those gutsy people and to be honest it feels great!! And for the main course I had a delicious 'Pasta Carbonara'. It was the most amazing pasta dish I have ever tasted. It was served with a raw egg yolk on top, which I found a little bit bizarre but then I was told to mix the yolk in and it tasted amazing.

Made In Chelsea
So as you get to know me you'll quickly understand that I'm a bit of a TV addict. I watch a ton of shows weekly, I honestly have no idea how I am even passing Uni, but I'm managing. But out of all the shows I watch Made In Chelsea would have to be my 2nd favourite. (One Tree Hill being my #1).
Anyways, I love the show because to be honest that is how I wish my life was. Im not saying Im unhappy and that I hate my live, what Im saying is that they just live such extravagant lives. They don't have money problems, they have great friends supporting them, they live in my favourite place in the entire world, they go to events regularly and host parties and I just think it would be so much fun to live like that. Im not saying that the only important things in life are money, clothes, partying because they aren't nearly as important as being surrounded by great people.
I also want to note on the girls sense in clothing.
Caggie just has/had such a calm simple style. She always let off this persona that she was happy and comfortable whilst always looking amazing. And can we take this moment to admire her cackle, it is just the cutest thing I have ever heard.
Now Millie, Millie has the greatest taste in fashion I have ever seen. She carries herself with such grace and elegance and I admire her for that.
Another one of my favourites its Louise. I definitely relate to her style the most out of all the personalities on the show. Id describe her style as classic, cool and chic. She is really big on collars and coats.
So there my 3 favourite styles from 'Made In Chelsea'.
Hope you enjoyed :)
